Lot’s of people has given Jose Mourinho sticks for his percieved negligence of youth in the teams he has gone to, which is infact not true.
While Jose plied his trade at Porto, the youth players were a big part of the club, in the 2004 UCL final where Jose made his name Porto had 2 academy gratuates in that team that beat monaco the same amount fergie had in the 2008 UCL final.
At Chelsea, you could remember the club was looking for instant success therefore the need to buy instead of groom players.
At Inter Milan, the club was more interested in buying players from south america as opposed to growing their own academy, Jose even attempted to tame the very wild Mario Balloteli.
At Real Madrid, you don’t need to be told why they are called the galacticos, they buy the biggest of players every season, even at that Jose gave the likes of morata, Jese and callejon their debut, and turning the then 19 year old Rafael Varane into a starter.
His second stint at Chelsea was almost same as the first, Roman wanted trophies and Jose delivered, he granted debut to kurt zouma and loftus-cheek, it ended in a total mess when then the club wanted to use academy players which as a matter of fact had not been a norm in the club. JOSE MOURINHO WOULD USE YOU IF YOU ARE GOOD DOESN’T MATTER YOUR AGE.

One cold and bitter thursday in munich, germany 6th febuary 1958. Eight great football stalwarts conceded victory.
Eight men will never play again who met destruction there. The flowers of English football, the flowers of manchester. The legendary Sir Matt Busby’s babes were flying, returning from belgrade, this great united family, all masters of their trade, the pilot of the aircraft, the skipper Captain Thain, three times they tried to take off and twice turned back again.
The third time, down the runaway disaster followed close, there was slush upon that runaway and the aircraft never rose.
It ploughed into the marshy ground, it broke, it overturned and eight of the team were killed as the blazing wreckage burned.
Roger Bryne and Tommy Taylor who were capped for England’s side and Ireland’s Billy whelan and England’s Geoff Bent died, Mark Jones and Eddie Colman and David Pegg also. They all lost their lives as it ploughed on through the snow. Big Duncan, oh Duncan Edwards, he went too with an injury to his brain, and Ireland’s brave Jack Blanch, flowers who will never play again.
The great Sir Matt Busby lay there, the father of his team, three long months passed before he saw the remains of his team. The trainer, coach and secretary and a member of the crew. Also eight sporting journalists who with united flew, and one of the Big swifty, who we will never forget, the finest English goalkeeper that ever graced the net.
Oh England’s finest football team, it’s records truly great. It’s proud success mocked by a cruel turn of fate.
Eight men will never play again, who met destruction there, the flowers of english football, the flowers of manchester.
I’m sure that the fans around the globe will also be paying their respect. I’ll be saying a prayer for their souls and flying my Red flag high, cause MAN UNITED will NEVER DIE

A weekend of absolute football madness started with a 9 goal thriller at the carrow road, lunchtime kick-off with Liverpool coming tops in that one, Norwich would only have themselves to blame, leading 3-1 at a certain time in the secondhalf, they let their fans and their manager down, going on to lose 5-4 despite a late fight back. Jurgen Klopp shouldn’t feel too happy, as his team’s defence shipped in 4 goals, on another day or maybe another team they could have lost by 4-1.
Meanwhile Man United continue their borefest at Old Trafford, you would have to ask questions how Louis Van Gaal is still Man United’s manager, any team with the likes of pereira, herrera, memphis, martial, lingard and mata, shouldn’t be having trouble creating chances, but United failed to do so with all this quality in their ranks losing to an 87th minute header by charlie austin as the saints matched to a 1 nil victory at Old Trafford. Tottenham continued their rich form with a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the celhurst park with Dele Alli scoring a goal of the season contender. It’s week 23 and Leicester are top of the league!!!, i repeat Leicester are top of the league!!!!! As the beat stoke city 3-0 with vardy on the score sheet.
Tea-time kick-off saw Man City come back twice to draw 2-2 versus West Ham, Aguero scoring both goals, a certain kelechi Iheanacho continues to show just why City rates him so highly.
Sunday fixtures started with Everton crumbling at home to struggling swansea, you just have to feel for the manager, i don’t know long he can keep his job, after seeing his team miss chance after chance from all kind of range, missing even from 2 yards out and ended up losing 2-1 to the Swans.
Just when you thought Man United were the biggest chokers of the weekend Arsenal shows up, with Arsenal as title favourites one would expect a better scoreline against their old foes Chelsea, but instead Mertesacer got sent off at the hands of Diego Costa who went on to get the only goal of the game, though Arsenal put up a spirited fight back (how many times have we said that over the years) Chelsea saw out the win.
Sunderland and west brom were held at home 1-1 and 0-0 versus bournemouth and Aston Villa respectively, meanwhile Watford beat Newcastle 2-1, special mention to the inform Odion Ighalo who got a goal for his watford side.

Pep guardiola has made public his desire to coach in the English premier league, stating this as the sole reason why he will not renew his contract at Bayern Munich, with both manchester clubs touted to be his destination. Manchester City though are favourites to land him. If City do get him as reported, then it might turn out to be a major disaster.
Pep, argueably the best coach in the world, has built his philosophy and success on the possession based game, Man City on the other hand are known for the high pressing game.
If Pep would succeed he would need new central midfielders, the likes of fernandinho, fernando and yaya toure can provide you with energy in midfield but they are not great short passers of the ball, knowing the premier league, it takes time for the best of midfielders to settle in, stating Mesut Özil as a perfect example.
City’s defence looks good now, but looking at it critically, kompany is not one you want to build a solid defence on, considering the fact that he is injury prone, mangala on the look of things may never come good, otamendi needs like another two seasons to settle, all four full backs at city are either 30 or above which brings the need for an over haul.
Aguero himself has stated he will not renew his contract which expires in the next 2 seasons. David Silva looks like he is loosing his magic touch, maybe the fast pace of the premier league is bearing down on him. Sterling and kevin de bruyne looks like the only two capable of dragging the team in the next two years, also considering the fact that City has below average squad players.
City might still go on to win trophies in the next two seasons due to Pep’s tactical brilliance, but if the fail to tackle this issues in their squad, then they are in for big trouble before or after Pep is gone.

Manchester united were brilliant in their win against Swansea. Rooney followed up his man of the match performance against chelsea with another fantastic performance and a well taken goal, while Ashley Young was a constant menace to the swansea defence, constantly beating Taylor for pace, while martial looks the sure deal. Van Gaal seems to have found the right balance in midfield, playing Herrera alongside the schmidfield. Apart from the win, one could see the passion and drive of the United team which had been lacking for some time we could finally see the man united of old, even after going down against the swans they did not let their heads drop instead Rooney went on to score the winner.
Manchester city did a comeback, something we don’t see too often. After going down against watford, Man City of 2015 would have lost the game before the final whistle but instead fought hard scoring twice in 3 minutes to win the game despite not playing particularly well. It was same situation for Arsenal who were under the cush for most of the game against Newcastle, but a koscielny volley sent them to the top of the table after leicester had failed to beat bournemouth despite having a man advantage with mahrez missing a spotkick.
Chelsea meanwhile continue their steady return to form, with the introduction of mikel in place of matic very pivotal to their resent performance including holding United to a goalless draw and beating Crystal palace at the selhurst park. Diego Costa is finally realising why he was bought, he was all over the place at selhurst park fighting for the ball rather than fighting with the opponent, in the end he scored one and assisted another. We finally saw the fabregas we all knew last season controlling the midfield alongside mikel. We can now say the “BIG BOYS” are finally standing up to their names.

The special one has been sacked by chelsea for the second time. Seven months after winning the league and cup double. He leaves with a heavy load on who ever takes over the job. Just 7 months ago chelsea lifted the league and cup double under Jose Mourinho, but 7 months after they don’t look like a side capable of ending in the top half of the table, Jose a man who delighted in poking fun at his opponent, calling Ranieri old and Wenger a specialist in failure but the once “SPECIAL ONE” is now the “SACKED ONE”.
The failings of his team is all his fault but the has been blaming everyone but himself, ranging from the club doctors to his players and F.A and refrees. Jose famously complained that he didn’t get the player he wanted to strengthen his squad, but he had a team that one the league the previous year, and that alone is enough to atleast end in third place.
Diego costa seems more interested in fighting than scoring goals, fabregas the most mercurial midfielder in the league last season can’t even spell the word “ASSIST” any longer, hazard last years PFA player of the year seems to have lost his drive haven failed to score in 27 games. Mou has been asking for the sack, after the defeat to southampton he took seven minutes to answer one question, stating he can’t be sacked, after the lose to leicester city he claimed his players had betrayed him but it was infact the opposite, after down grading his own men in the press, stating it was of his own making that chelsea could win the league, forgetting to give the players credit is enough to make the players turn against you. A sabatical would be the best option for Jose, to get a clear reflection of where it all went wrong, on how he successfully turned champions to CHUMPS.
